A maritime safety workshop in cooperation with AUSMAR and given by Julio and Luis Sande from the company Sande Vidal (Ausmar/Duarry distributor for La Coruña) was held on 21^st April at the Sada yacht club. The workshop consisted of a revision of the most important factors of onboard safety, the deployment of a Duarry life raft in front of the attendees, and an explanation of how each of the components of a life raft works and the basic safety measures to be taken in an abandon ship situation.
