The Spanish Maritime Safety Agency, a State executive agency attached to the Ministry of Development, attended this past summer a total of 1,328 rescues related to leisure boats along the Spanish coasts. The number of people rescued in these emergencies during this period were about 3,879.

The causes of leisure boats emergencies have mainly been mechanical failures, stranding, leak, fire / explosion and sinking or overturning.

We want to remind that before going out to sail one of the main priorities should be safety and prevention. Let’s not forget that even if we are a few miles from the coast, an emergency situation especially with children, can lead to an undesirable end if we are not well equipped. Life jackets, man overboard devices and life rafts are essential in coastal navigation.

Within our catalog, our lifejackets, the Sea Tags device and our Duarry Coast Liferaft offer the security that every navigator and his crew need.
