The AUSMAR Maritime Safety Points system is an evaluation system that allows you to rate the degree of safety of your vessel. Ausmar has created this program, based on the World Sailing Category 3 regulations, to make sailors aware of the importance of safety at sea. Boats that achieve the maximum score of 100 points will be awarded the 3 Ausmar Marine Safety Rings certificate.
HOW IT WORKS:
Whether you are going to participate in competitive regattas or not, the regulations establish a series of mandatory elements that your boat must equip. Ausmar assigns a coefficient to each element of the regulations taking into account its importance and degree of safety.

Perform your own self-assessment with the Ausmar Self-Assessment Test. Download the test and fill in the boxes to know the safety level of your boat. This test is not binding and is only informative to help you to know a little more.
