Circuito de Regatas Ausmar

From September 10 to 12, the historic route between Salou and Dragonera Island came alive once again with the 39th edition of the Rei en Jaume Regatta. Over 120 sailors aboard 20 boats covered the 103 nautical miles separating both coasts, in a race defined by technical demands and the pure beauty of the Mediterranean.

This regatta, which counts towards the Catalonia Offshore, A2, and Solo Sailing Championships, also marked the fourth leg of the 2025 Circuito de Regatas Ausmar. While the top four teams —Pekas X, Nirvana III, Suhail, and Bimba— held their positions, the leaderboard saw significant movement: five new teams officially joined the standings, bringing the total number of contenders to 22 boats vying for the title.

The circuit’s scoring system rewards not only consistency but also strategy: only the top three results for each team count towards the overall standings. This means every regatta can be a game-changer — as proven by Eduardo de las Eras and his Esther, who climbed to fifth place after a standout performance.

From Ausmar, as proud sponsors of the circuit, we celebrate not only the competitive spirit of each race, but also the shared responsibility of sailing safely. Because behind every mile sailed are teams who trust in their preparation, their crew — and their life rafts and safety systems.

The countdown to the final race is on: the Golden Cup Badalona (October 31 – November 2) will be decisive. For many, it’s the last chance to score. For everyone, it’s one more chance to prove that competing also means taking care of your own.
